"Gulliver's Travels" follows the adventures of Lemuel Gulliver, a ship's surgeon, who finds himself in various strange and remote lands. In the first part, he is shipwrecked on the island of Lilliput, inhabited by tiny people. In the second part, he encounters giants on the island of Brobdingnag. The third part sees him in the flying island of Laputa, where he encounters intellectuals who are out of touch with reality. Finally, in the fourth part, Gulliver visits the land of the Houyhnhnms, rational horses who rule over savage humanoid creatures called Yahoos. Throughout his journeys, Gulliver encounters different societies and cultures, providing Swift with a platform to satirize various aspects of human nature and society, including politics, religion, and human folly.
